Eclective travelled to Cyprus to present at the Socially Engaged Design Conference (SED).
This event allowed a range of UK and Cyprus-based academics, creatives, and researchers to explore the relationship between socially-engaged design and urban development. The diverse audience included students, creative practitioners, lawyers, architects and urbanists.
Yukie and Beverley of Eclective presented their social-design work in Somers Town, hosted a workshop, and facilitated a roundtable discussion during the conference.
SED speakers included: Assemble, make:good, Clear Village, CABE, professors and academics from the University of Nicosia and University of Cyprus and researchers from Central Saint Martins.
