On a crisp winters day in 2015 Eclective set about exploring Longwood Park. We wandered the neighbourhood, took photographs, sketched, met locals and got them to take us to places meaningful to them.

The goal of this project was to uncover and creatively represent the identity of Longwood Park.

The second part of the adventure was an explorer’s day, once again we were joined by locals, this time around a table for brunch; sharing food, stories and contributing to an A-Z of Longwood Park.

We screen-printed letters and residents contributed handwritten stories and photographs, which formed part of a visual display. A selection of the stories can be found here.
